| I did see that too, however they did suggest it was outgoing international mail
that was affected, maybe not.

I believe its incoming too either way I have temporarily closed all international
sales on other platforms although I have kept them open here as customers don't
have to pay until I invoice them and so I will just give them the option of either
cancelling their order or waiting until I know more thereby I won't take
payment until I know I'm good to ship!

It’s logical indeed.
It’s also logical that Royal Mail is talking to its clients: UK people, so it’s
talking about outgoing mail.
Incoming mail obviously comes from other postal services and it’s left to these
entities to notify their own clients.
And the BBC and other UK news outlets obviously talk to UK people first too
