I've been buying on BrickLink for years. I understand when Sellers run into
a problem. Last month, as usual, I paid immediately after placing an order.
Then, I waited weeks to receive an incomplete order. The seller never communicated,
admitted they knew they shorted me and only fixed the problem after I asked for
a fix.
I gave a rare negative review and the seller retaliated with a negative review
of me. Is there anything that can be done about this?

Probably not, but feedback isn't nearly as important for buyers as it is
for sellers

I wouldn't worry about your negative. Anyone looking at your feedback, then
their response, will know who's in the wrong. Leaving a negative for that
seller was worth you getting retaliatory feedback so other buyer's will think
twice before ordering from them.

They've got TWO negatives already this year. I'm sure they deserve a
lot more negatives but buyers are scared of the retaliatory negative so they
choose not to leave feedback or false positive/neutral.

Yes, you can tell by the ratio of orders to feedback that at least a few buyers
chose to leave no feedback at all rather than a neutral or negative.

As others said you can’t do anything about it other than the feedback you left.

The only thing is to check feedback before buying, their feedback is, in my opinion,
poor to say the least.
And others that check your feedback, like I did, will see why you left this feedback
and for what kind of seller your feedback is meant. They will see you are not
the one that should be left with a negative feedback.

Unfortunately you're probably stuck with the neg unless an admin sees you're
post, looks into it and removes it. I know it's annoying and there is a principle
involved but the neg should have no tangible impact on you. No seller worth buying
from will cancel your order or stoplist you because of it.

This seller's feedback is poor and I would advise always reading seller feedback
received before ordering, especially recent ones.

BTW, I don't take into account the seller FB percentage because I don't
like the way BL calculates it. A sliding one year window (like eBay) would be
far more useful than the lifetime percentage BL currently uses. Bad feedback
from 3, 5 or even 10 years ago isn't relevant and obscures more recent and
thus more relevant performance.

Holy cow he has such awful feedback. I wouldn't be concerned at all.

I don't understand how these sellers are allowed to continue here.

I don't understand how these sellers are allowed to continue here.

It's because people want to buy from their stores. Buyers vote with their
wallets and they keep voting to support such stores.

I'm aware that money talks lol, I guess I just expect more from our corporate
overlords since this is about buyer experience.

You can reply to his feedback reply, I know, childish.
But if you wish, you can add the simple frase: Check his feedback!

Good luck

Is filing a NSS an option? If you didn't get your complete order and they
wont support, then technically they didn't ship your complete order.

Sorry forgot to add... message me what they shorted you. If I have the part(s)
will send you at no cost.
