Hi,

We have just started with Bricklink and are adding all of the parts we own directly
to our inventory stockroom. Then we found out that if we added a set into our
wanted list we can se in the part out section a "have" information (se
picture). We have tried to added some of the parts in to My collection instead
but it also ends up with zero in this information row.
How does it work?

What we want is:
Open a sets parts list and se if we have all of the parts?

Thx

Unfortunately, it doesn’t work.

The new My Collection thing is about useless now.  Hopefully it’ll improve….

The Wanted Lists are not linked to store inventory.  Apparently, the rationale
is that sellers don’t buy….

Yep… nope.

Thanks for the quick reply! Even if it was a big disappointment.
Any suggestion for the best way to do this? Export all to excel ?

There’s Rebrickable (website) or BrickStore (application).
Rebrickable has its own IDs & inventories, so there may be conversion problems.

There is a way, but not perfect. Requires Brickstore (which is highly recommended
anyway)

Import your store inventory into Brickstore.

In the Rebrickable list for the MOC or set you are interested in. "Add parts
to bricklink wanted list"

Back to brickstore. Import wanted list (the one you just created)

In that wanted list "Copy values from document", reference your store
inventory & ensure remarks section is selected.

This will give you your location of all items you own from that wanted list.
It doesn't give you quantity though. You may check your inventory location
and see you don't have enough. But, at least you know all things you at
least own, or are missing. With the added bonus of if you own it, where it is.
