I've sent questions to 3 different sellers and none have answered me ?
its about a minifigure that has a "crack". I'm requesting an image
from them. since they don't reply, I'm guessing they're hiding something
? guarantees I'm not buying from them. How hard is it to simply reply,
damn. end rant

Ah, I was about to answer to the Subject with something like “most receive their
messages through e-mail and don’t read them on the website, so they stay marked
unread here”… but then, maybe not reading would be better than reading but not
answering….

Ah, I was about to answer to the Subject with something like “most receive their

ah yes, guess I should have asked if anyone Answers their emails. Either way,
reading should lead to answering if you want to sell something to an interested
buyer. I certainly answer my emails as fast as I can just out of courtesy.

What were you asking them? And what is the price of the minifigure?

You'll be surprised what some people ask for. They have to pick that part,
photograph it, then restock it again. If it is an expensive part it might be
worth it. If it is a cheap one, and the description is clear, they are less likely
to.

If it's a cracked minifig, it's likely already discounted. It would take
me as long as 20 minutes to find your fig, take a decent image, upload it, type
a response to you, and then put it back. The vast majority of these inquiries
don't result in a sale. Yes, the sellers should at least respond to say sorry
they can't help you. But put yourself in their shoes!

+1 in general many sellers either don't respond to requests for images or
respond saying they cant provide images

seem to have similar experiences), that photographs provided still only rarely
provide a sale. It takes time and effort to provide photos, and it the item is
already discounted, or cheap, replying to 10's of photo request before resulting
in a sale is poor time management for a store owner.
For instance, I have in my terms I do not provide pictures, and state I will
simply not reply to such requests (although I mostly still do reply and alert
them to me policies). Did you read the policies of the store you requested photo's
from?

actually due to the OP not reading seller terms. 😀

I've read each of the stores terms and none state a specific policy, one
actually states
"If you have any questions about specific parts, just ask and I will be glad
to help you"
But I get what you're all saying. I'm a small time seller with small
inventory right now so its easy for me to answer questions and take some pics
if asked. I see how it could be a pain to deal with it if you had a huge inventory
for $20.
I'd still answer the question though.
