| Hi
just wanted to ask how many else have similar problems and any tips what to do
if it happens. I bought a quite expensive set here from brick link site and i
got in few days as promised.Nicely wrapped and all the intructions and box where
in good shape but it had unfortunately parts missing ( there were plenty of extra
parts but none of them helped). I was in touch with a seller first response was
from him that i have missed them and are somewhere in the box or bags. 7 out
of ten times that can happen but not in this case i went all parts thru separated
them in to bags and douple checked everything. In sellers add it was said it
is complete set. I been in touch with seller he responded to me compensating
me with 7€ and i can look the missing parts myself. Is it my job to look those
parts ..? Money plays no role here its just what are those sellers responsobilities
on these issues. Comments tips much appreciated

In situations where I miss pieces in orders, I will offer to replace them if
I have them or give a refund for them. I have never bought replacements myself
for a buyer, as I feel it is less complicated and overall better for the customer
if I refund them and they do it themselves.

| I totally agree with this. He should send the parts if he has them, or enough
to cover the cost of the parts and shipping if he doesn't (which it sounds
like he did).
The main reason that I don't buy replacement parts for someone else is that
I have no way to guarantee the quality of the parts that I'm buying unless
I first have them shipped to me and then ship them to the end buyer. This causes
a significant delay for shipping and increased shipping costs as well. Better
to refund sufficient for the buyer to replace them (and provide help finding
them if the buyer doesn't know how to find individual parts).

Agreed - hopefully the refund will be sufficient for the buyer in this case to
acquire the missing pieces.

If the set he bought was SEALED, then the issue is not the seller. The buyer
should contact Lego directly and request the missing parts. Sellers cannot be
held responsible for missing parts from sealed sets.

| There are far too many dodgy users asking for advice on what parts are in what
bags here, for anything to be totes genuine - so dodge.
If a bag is listed as sealed? It should have the same seal top and bottom - most
dodgies will only reseal one side, because they're dodgy.
Without knowing all the facts - it's impossible to tell precisely.
LEGO will only include spare parts that are smaller than 1 x 1 x 1. I believe
that is atleast half-correct.
So much dodgy goin' on.
