| I placed a relatively small order of parts from a store in Germany at the end
of October. It was marked shipped on November 4th. I sent a message on November
18th asking if they had any details about the order as I had received several
other orders placed around the same time from different parts of Europe. The
message has not been read yet. I am located in the United States. How much longer
should I wait before going through PayPal and trying to recoup my money?

You've 180 days to open dispute on the Paypal website.
Does the shipment have a trackingnumber?

do not received a track and trace code?
normallyy it takes maximum 3 weeks, 2 weeks is regular.

| I'd wait a month or 2. Shipments from Europe can be here in a week, but I've
also had 6+ weeks regularly.

There is no tracking information, that is one piece of information I requested
in the message I sent.

There is no tracking information, that is one piece of information I requested
in the message I sent.

Did you pay for international tracking? If not, it is unlikely that there will
be a tracking number.

The message could well have been read, in email rather than in the message centre.
Although the seller should have replied, even if just to confirm that it has
been posted on the date the update was made.
If the seller has decent feedback and says it has been posted, I'd wait at
least another few weeks before involving a PayPal dispute.

| I’ve placed several orders from Germany and they arrive within a few weeks or
within 2-3 months by its really a toss up but they always arrive

I had recently a buyer from US. I sent the parcel on 27th Oct. Arrival 21st of
Nov. via DHL. Seems there were lags in processing time on customs, as well at
the airport in germany. Both took couple of days according to tracking details.
As it was just some parts, maybe got sent without tracking from seller? How much
was shipping cost?
