Why not just adjust your shipping prices to reflect what they are? It is less
likely to annoy buyers compared to if they see you are adding on additional charges
on top of postage.

There's currently a $.40 surcharge for First Class for holiday rates. Just
update your shipping prices. It's likely to stick after the new year anyway
if they follow their own pattern.
