Hey,

I am sorting through a used lot from one collector with sets from about 2006-2012
and found 8 minifigs all with this combination and no headgear.

Part No: 3626bpb0323 Name: Minifigure, Head Beard Red-Brown, Sneer, Eye Patch Pattern - Blocked Open Stud
*

Parts: Minifigure, Head

Part No: 973pb0529c01 Name: Torso Pirate Jacket Open with Gold Trim over Torn White Shirt, Dark Brown Diagonal Belt with Buckle, Yellow Neck Pattern / Blue Arms / Yellow Hands
*
973pb0529c01 (Inv) Torso Pirate Jacket Open with Gold Trim over Torn White Shirt, Dark Brown Diagonal Belt with Buckle, Yellow Neck Pattern / Blue Arms / Yellow Hands

Part No: 970c00 Name: Hips and Legs Plain
*

Parts: Minifigure, Legs {White}

Does anyone recognize if it came from a special event at some point? Most of
the minifigs were fairly close to their original build and there were none of
these:

Part No: 3626bpb0325 Name: Minifigure, Head Male Eye Patch, Brown Eyebrows, Stubble Pattern - Blocked Open Stud
*
3626bpb0325 Minifigure, Head Male Eye Patch, Brown Eyebrows, Stubble Pattern - Blocked Open Stud
Parts: Minifigure, Head
and only a couple of these in the lot.

Part No: 2528pb03 Name: Minifigure, Headgear Hat, Pirate Bicorne with White Skull and Crossbones Large Pattern
*
2528pb03 Minifigure, Headgear Hat, Pirate Bicorne with White Skull and Crossbones Large Pattern
Parts: Minifigure, Headgear

It's a mystery! Any info is appreciated!

  Just a shot in the dark, but they could have been parts thrown into the BAMF
bins at Lego stores - they're generic enough to appear there, but you would
think they'd at least have their hats it anything (unless the hats weren't
included in the BAMF bins, or got lost as time went on?)

That does seem the likeliest source. Never hurts to ask though. I am afraid
they are mostly headed for the dust bin anyway. Cracked arms and torsos.... dang
you old blue LEGO!

They do still sell even when cracked in multiple places so unless it’s in your
terms you don’t list them like that they will still sell

Yes, I used to do that but have gotten out of the practice. I don't trust
that 'Easy Buy' won't let some unsuspecting buyer add them to their
cart without ever seeing the Comments.

Now, I only list damaged parts if they are pretty rare.

Thanks,
Jen
