But now, I can not recieved message, and this document!
What can I do now?
Best regards, Eva&Peter

Hi, that other time, it must have been a UK buyer. The invoice (‘letter’) showed
that the buyer had correctly paid the UK VAT to BrickLink.
For now, it’s only necessary for UK buyers (when they buy from outside UK, for
less than £135) and EU buyers (when they buy from out of EU, for less than €150).
Most US buyers have to pay Sales tax to BrickLink but it’s not checked by Customs
(the tax is local, not federal).
So you only need to fill the CN-22 / CN-23 (and join an invoice it’s a CN-23,
but it’s not a ‘special’ invoice like for UK).
TL;DR: As you’re in EU, you only need that special invoice for UK buyers for
now.
(Maybe other countries will need it soon, like Canada. We don’t know yet.)

That doesn’t change anything: YOU are not collecting taxes, it’s BrickLink that
does (and has to according to UK, EU & US laws).
So, once again but differently:
The previous order with the ‘letter’ to join:
You got the ‘letter’ (special invoice) because the buyer was in UK and you had
to show UK Customs that your buyer correctly paid the UK VAT to BrickLink. Otherwise
your buyer would have had to pay VAT again.
The current order to the US buyer:
Your buyer paid taxes to BrickLink because they have to. (No matter what YOUR
status is, the buyer is still a buyer and they bought on a marketplace, BrickLink,
and the marketplace has to collect the taxes. It’s a tax on buying, not on selling.)
But there’s no ‘letter’ (special invoice) because the US Customs don’t check
those taxes because the taxes aren’t federal, they are local (by state, city,
county…).
Hope it’s clearer
