| I have been sourcing parts I require and get frustrated with stores that do not
have up front shipping rates in their terms or provide the option to request
a quote.
Instead the only option is to click through to get an invoice, which requires
you to "Agree and Continue" and agree "Items will be reserved for you, and you
will be obligated to purchase them."
Hard to agree to purchase if I do not know what the shipping will be.
Most stores are very good at responding to inquiries but some don't. I just
wish that if shipping has not been quoted buyers did not have to either to agree
to buy or need to contact the seller.
It is something that would make the site more buyer friendly.

I agree with you completely. Check out my store. You will always know the shipping
cost before committing.

| If every human-being was completely unreasonable they would never sell to an
Australian buyer, but we are all infact very very reasonable consumers.
If I chose to do so, I could change my mind after the fact, regardless of Bricklinks
terms and expect a full refund at a sellers expence for no good reason other
than a change of mind within twenty eight days from purchase.
See - we are pretty good 😎
I'd also like to think we are relatively aware of what we are due to pay
inclusive of any order...

enabled; I've asked many sellers for a shipping quote via BL messages, and
a lot of them don't even read the message, let alone reply.

Why would you force sellers to do something they may not want to do, for any
(good or bad) reason?

The Agree and Continue is NOT accurate. You can go all the way through the checkout
process to get to the Request Quote button and never be obligated to purchase.
It's terrible syntax on BrickLink's part. Reported and never fixed. Sorry!
