Paris: beautiful city, beautiful women, good food, lots of history, wonderful
museums, great churches, only one thing wrong.
Guess which one I am talking about and what is the one thing that could be improved.

It is a good movie. Not as good as this, though https://youtu.be/hv-T2g1XFdo

What is the name of this movie, I need to see the whole thing now. You tube
link did not have it.

It's a favorite of mine. But I've had a soft spot for Julie Andrews ever
since my Dad took me to see Mary Poppins at the theatre, all the way back in
1964. Enjoy Robert Preston and James Garner too

I am pretty certain that almost everything we learned in school about Christobol
Columbus was WRONG.
There is almost zero evidence that he was Italian, but instead he was from Portugal
and that he was of the Portuguese royal family. No commoner would be granted
an audience with the King and Queen of Spain -- a commoner would have been
imprisoned or killed just for trying to see Queen Isabella. Some evidence claims
he was Jewish, that is mother was a Jew and his father a Catholic. It has even
been shown that the exact day he set sail in those three ships was the exact
day that Jews were expelled from Portugal. Some say that his sailing expeditions
were for the purpose of finding new places for the Jews of Portugal to migrate
to. Records indicate that when Christopher Columbus returned from the new world,
the first place he went to was Portugal and not Spain.
Every place in the western world that Columbus visited and named was given a
Portuguese name, starting with Cuba. At that time, the only other Cuba in the
world was in Portugal. None of the places he named have Italian or even Spanish
names. Cuba, Portugal, has claimed to be the actual birthplace of CC since 1492.
Some new research indicates that CC was actually a Portuguese Spy or secret agent
of the King of Portugal and was sent to mis-direct the Spanish and that, somehow,
the Portuguese already had knowledge of the new world.
There is no iron-clad proof of most of this, but the evidence is pretty convincing.
The following video takes one hour and my change your perspective of CC.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u0yoVsZfypQ
I believe CC was a great man and deserves to be honored with a holiday. If people
ALSO wish to celebrate indigenous peoples day on the same day, I am fine with
that. Many people of Italian descent have contributed greatly to the development
of The New World, but I don't believe that CC was one of them.
