| Hello my name is stephen wiggins and I am a printmaker who found out about printmaking
with legos from the provisional press instagram account. They posted how they
make presses that they send as kits people can build from their website. Their
press can be used to print legos like woodcuts, linocuts or traditional printmaking
methods. So since 2020 I have been printmaking with legos with the provisional
press. Anyhow I am going to attach a pic of the print I made and just see what
people think about it. Trying to get more people into printmaking with legos!
Just some FAQS: I use speedball professional relief ink, speedball roller, archival
printmaking paper and LEGO base plates. I also get all my pieces from here bricklink.com
flat lego tiles. YOu don't have to have a press but it really does save
your hands. I also use a drywall pallet knife to take the legos off and "reset"
the plate after I am done using it.

| That's impressive! These modified tiles are compatible with your system (in
case you didn't know about them)

Nice work! I focused on printmaking in art school but never really got back to
it. It's great that you've found this creative outlet.
You could try using the 'cheese slope' pieces placed on their edges like
the mosaic makers do. I'd bet it would make some amazing patterns.
