| Never asked never messaged just left feedback for air bubbles in the lightsabers.
Some buyer are just very unreasonable with their expectations and should understand
messaging sellers if you need or want certain things. Have sold tens of thousands
of them without issue. The old bars are hard to find 100% air bubble free and
the new ones are really not that nice. Oh well their loss.

You put air bubbles in them in order to save on shipping???
That's bad 
Seriously, talk with the buyer, and if he isn't happy with the quality maybe
refund him those, that may help you.

Yikes! What, are you supposed to go directly to LEGO to pick out only bubble-free
parts? What do some people expect more than they would get opening a new set
themselves? There's one for the stop list.

That's pretty messed up.
As a sidenote: I often wonder if the other bars have air bubbles in (sad, I know!).
The sabers in any SW set pictures never have them, so why were Lego happy to
put them in real sets with bubbles?

For the same reason fast food looks better in advertisements than it does in
person: to attract customers.
AFAIK the bubbles are only an issue with trans-color bars, but you can't
see inside of an opaque bar so it's hard to know for sure.
I wonder if the bubbles affect the performance of the lightsaber… I can imagine
a Star Wars movie where a jedi loses a duel due to his/her lightsaber having
air bubbles in it.

This was exactly the case in the end fight between Luke and his father. Luke
has inserted a lot of bubbles into Darthvader's lightsaber shortly before
their fight has started and Darthvader lost because of them - but unfortunately
this scene has been cut off and was never shown in the movie...

I think it could be a good strategy, an air bubble in your lightsaber would cause
an explosion due to the super heated air.
If you can direct the explosion to your opponent………
