| Oi gang!
The topic of sellers not leaving feedback (especially for new members) comes
up frequently
I understand, when I was a new BL'er buying'n'selling I too fussed
over that quite a bit
Now that I have all the LEGO I need (LIAR!), there are still sometimes I just
need an extra brick or two ..
In that case I've gone with purely local sellers in my country, even if it
means higher prices for the parts. Lower shipping costs kinda levels that out
I've found it interesting that out of all the orders I've made in the
last six months, ALL sellers have left feedback (positive to boot)
Anyone else in the same boat?
In general I've been quite satisfied with my feedback (847 posted, 743 recieved)
and I don't think I ever haven't left feedback for a sale or buy
Cheers,
Ole

For me it's should be "normal".
As a Seller I leave a Positive Feedback as soon as an order is Shipped (which
also means Paid of course) to EVERY orders (apart problematic ones, like NPB,
NSS, and such, where it's decided case by case).
As a Buyer I don't post Feedback if the Seller hasn't (already said somewhere
in another Post). And I'm sloooow on this, like months after.

In my experience, sellers are generally pretty good about leaving feedback. Now
buyers, on the other hand, are kind of hit-and-miss. Maybe only half of buyers
leave feedback.

As a seller I leave feedback right after I mail out the order.
When buying I leave it after inspecting the order.
But I will check to see if the seller left me feedback, although I know some
sellers leave it in big batches after a while.
For new buyers, I send a short reminder after a few weeks (depending on shipping
time) to ask them to let me know if all was well with their order.
And a link to where they can complete the order.
Some do, some don’t, some you never hear from again, some you have a great conversation
with about their hobby.
I like to hear what people are building or collecting.
The feedback does feel like appreciation, although I know it shouldn’t

| Buyer only feedback (879 Orders) - 874 posted, 814 received. (I skip feedback
if a well-meaning seller leaves money and a belated note for missing items)
How I group sellers as a buyer:
Type A - Leaves feedback immediately (Super trustworthy)
Type B - Leaves feedback in batches (Still trustworthy)
Type C - Leaves feedback after order is complete (Efficient)
Type D - Leaves feedback rarely, if ever (Extra efficient)
Type E - Leaves feedback after receiving theirs (Foxy, but fair)
Type F - Leaves feedback never (The lord of all foxes)

| Pretty sure that's above average but it's you we are talking about so
I wouldn't expect otherwise

You're very kind, Jason! In fact, you're every kind
|
| What is "average" in this regard?
|
if I remember correctly from previous threads the average is closer to 65%-75%
but I might be wrong. Your looks like about 88% feedback so it looks great!
