It has now 'ended' but wasn't sure how much it went for....anyone

| Usually that phrase is indicative as the seller accepted an amount and pulled
the listing...
Trust me...I have seen items listed on ebay sites worldwide, made an offer and
the items ended...

Some years ago I got offered one and didn’t buy it for something like €1200 
But this sounds a bit expensive…

I probably would have bought the 1200 euro one...

I like the Dutch phrasing, it's different.
How about...
Tu dormis, tu perdis
(It sounds better in English with the contemporary “snooze”)
Or you could dive back to Cato’s proverb “He who hesitates is lost”

This is a bit to harsh, “is lost”, the Dutch should have done something is a
bit nicer in my mind
