even know we all know that every piece was added correctly, when you first look
at a what you have and how many were ordered, you have the feeling of... "how
am I short?" and then it works out just fine just like every other time we have
counted large quantities.

I was surprised at the number until I spent some time looking at the pictures,
writing down all the guesses, and accounting for the clues.
Must have been my Business Intelligence background kicking in . . .

I am a terrible artist, but good at putting dots on other people's pictures.
I use a similar trick when I see an interesting collection of Lego on other selling
platforms.
The dots keep me sane when checking the value of minifigs in a big pile or identify
something interesting poking out of a big bulk lot.
Knowing how to reduce the miscellaneous part noise in pictures help me acquire
my UCS Snowspeeder (75144) and Heavy Lift Helicopter (42052) recently.
