First off, please read this charitably as my tone is as considerate as I can
be.

After a few years of seeing this come up in the forums from time to time, I'm
going to finally chime in. Your feedback are split fairly well along the buying/selling
lines, so I'm going to assume you had a halfway decent store up and running
before 2018.

The best answer you're going to get here is to do your own homework. We don't
know the local prices for product in your area, nor do we know your store capacity,
buying power, time commitments, etc. There are a lot of variables to consider
when you ask "what should I part out." And even if we had all that info, there
is still the matter of your motivation and view for the future, each of which
are highly personal and highly variable.

The best place to start is to compile a list of all the sets you can acquire,
their prices, their partout values, their contents, and find a set or sets that
hits the sweet spot of what you can afford, what you can process, what you can
store, and what you are excited about selling.

After that, learn, iterate, and learn some more.

Cheers!

You might want to have a look at Hillians Bricks on YouTube - he gives lots
of advice about buying and selling Lego (and he's UK based) and posts at
least three vlogs and videos about special offers, buying, selling and collecting
Lego every week. He's also got his own discord server channel for discussing
anything Lego related etc. etc.

I find it easier to get sets you like because in most cases you will get a lot
simular parts to build a good inventory.

Random sets are also good for unique stuff for lots and such. Regardless good
luck.
