I found a LEGO minifigure that had arm guards that cover the outside side of
the arm. They attach by removing the hand and reinserting it through a ring
on the the guard. I can't find anything in the catalog. Any ideas?

Thanks

Probably not Lego. I've seen them on custom Star Wars minifigures

Yes,
Sounds like the image UTLF posted. Might be a bag though. You have to take the
head off to put the bag on.

Thanks all. I agree. The picture is exactly what they look like. I appreciate the help.

TLG did dabble in something like that a couple of decades ago, but it was part
of the hand

(See left minifig)

Cheers,

Ole

Prototype parts are not allowed in the catalogue anymore due to TLG ownership

(Which is hilarious as they contacted _me_ due to not having certain parts in
their own internal catalogue)

You can still find a few, like liftarm02, but they're marked for deletion

Cheers,

Ole
