| Hello All. I have vintage Lego sets - 20 to 25 years old - that my married son
left behind. Some have boxes and some do not. As I go thru them I am making a
list of missing parts (if any). Should I try to complete the sets or offer incomplete
sets 'as is' for sale? For example: the X-wing Fighter is missing one
part. TIA

Which set is it?

Oh, I found it (4502). It's missing the hut and Yoda, but Yoda's only
a $5 figure.

Then most of the set is there. Looking at listings, the lowest price for the
set complete and used is $158. If you're only missing one or two relatively
common pieces, then people might be willing to pay as much for the set as-is.
If the pieces are uncommon, then you could try to purchase them and then sell
the set.

| The example set is #4502, blue. But I mean in general. Maybe it depends on if
it is collectible or not?

Your main problem here isn't to decide what to sell, but to be registered
on BrickLink as a seller; which may imply some delay.
I'd recommend you to start this, it's free, then you'll have time
to decide or get helped on what's best in this case?
Hoping it helps?

I would say complete the sets by buying the parts you need on here. Having some
feedback is a requirement to becoming a seller.
But if I am personal looking to buy a set I want it to be 100% complete.

Welcome to BrickLink. I have to ask... does your son no longer want these?

| Hi, Son does not want any of it. I just finished inventory. 42 sets, most are
Bionicles. Just ordered missing pieces to complete the sets. Hope someone else
will enjoy them as much as he did.
