Great! And where the exit is? Top left maybe? I guess entrance is on the left
in the middle. Or?

Thanks.

We were in a small maze at Eastnor Castle yesterday and the day before we visited
Puzzlewood in Gloucestershire.

The walk is amazing in Puzzlewood, it’s like a maze but it’s not on the flat,
certainly not for those unsteady on their feet, their tiny so called maze isn’t
really a maze.

It is just a couple of miles from me. The sad thing is once you are in the maze,
it could be any pattern, you wouldn't know.

I wonder what the LEGO lawyers think of it.

The fact that the head of marketing for UK and Ireland has commented on it i'm
guessing they're ok with it! I wonder if LEGO were contacted beforehand?

They do them every year on a different subject. They've done Harry Potter,
a Dalek, Jurassic Park, etc in the past.

There is a small airfield near by and sometimes gliders or microlites fly over.
Another popular way of looking at them (and the rest of York) is taking a hot
air balloon trip.

How do they do this? From the above we can see how it looks. But being on the
ground you don't see how it looks. How do they know how and where to cut
the bushes.

Anyone has an idea?

Thanks.

I did ask a few years back when we last went. They use GPS to guide the cutting
of the paths but they do this when the maize has only just started to shoot so
it is more like ploughing an apparently empty field than cutting out paths from
a jungle of maize. It does mean that they don't know if they have done it
right until the crop has grown.

I guess, like a lot of things, it is all a lot easier than it used to be in the
"old days". Drones allow you to get instant aerial views of projects on this
scale, and as Yorbrick says GPS combined with aerial mapping mean modern farming
has been revolutionised allowing sowing and harvesting to all be plotted in advance.
I guess you just transfer these skills to a more artistic outcome.

Bloody impressive though.

Thank you both. Of course. This makes sense.
