While I know how to use a single custom image for an inventory item, I want to
add multiple photos to show the condition of certain sets. How do I do this?

I think you can only have one. You'd have to put a link in a note and host
the pictures elsewhere. Or use one decent photo showing the condition of say
the front of a box then a note saying contact you for more photos.

Well thanks for the answer. I guess it's reasonable that Bricklink is so
limited, considering it's owned by a small family company =/

Another option would be to create a small collage of 2-4 photos.

Yeah, no link to other sites.
You could change the image or have it help you make the transaction out of BL.
