Howdy,

I am going to be selling Bulk (no minifigure parts/pieces) at an event later
this year & I'm wondering if you price your bulk based on type.

That is, do you sort your bulk into different categories (Technic, trans colors,
small plates - 16x16 or less, parts such as windows, printed pieces etc) and
charge more/less based on this.

Do you sort certain colors out such as Sand Green, Dark Tan etc?

Or do you simply throw it all to the wind & let customers dig, find, buy?

Thank you!

I would not sell printed parts as bulk unless they're in faded/worn condition.
Other than that, I would just sell by weight or volume (e.g. fill a bag for
$10 or something like that). Your customers will do the sorting.

Sorting out Bionicle /Hero Factory, from technic and from regular parts is a
good idea if you are putting in some time. If also sorting by colour, traditional
from Friends is also quite a quick sort method.

When I'm doing a bulk used load I tend to pull parts that I want anyway,
so sort about that level for bulk bags and also pull anything that might be valuable.

Some people go further and sort plates, bricks, others, but that takes longer
for not much extra money.
