It looks like this: https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=989&idColor=10&name=Dark%20Gray%20Hinge%20Brick%201%20x%202%20Locking%20with%201%20Finger%20Top&category=%5BHinge%5D#T=S&C=10&O={%22color%22:10,%22iconly%22:0}

but it is not, so I got no clue. I looked all over BL and Brickstore but no luck.
Thanks!

It is very difficult to remove without damaging the part.

I tried, but it appears no. Could be a factory error. I found in a $5 bag at
the back of a flea market.

It's made in 2 pieces, I've had a couple of broken ones where the hinge
has separated from the brick. It could have been an error, or is it possible
it has been broken and then stuck back on?

I'm currently trying to separate it with a screwdriver, but no luck. It lifts
up a bit but not enough to pull off. Thanks!

Well that explains it! It was in the BACK of a flea market! You gotta watch out

Is the finger able to turn? The only orientation I have ever seen is the 989/30345/76385
but I do not have any currently to see if it can indeed turn.

Some people have found the brick without the finger (and asked about it here).

Just found this, and I’m assuming it’s the part without the clip in it? 😂 or
is it something entirely different?

Yep, missing clip.

Often asked about because clip has been removed and put back incorrectly.
