| Is there a way to insert a step in Studio after you have created the next step?
For instance, suppose I have 12 steps in a design, but realize that I need an
additional step earlier (like there should be a new step in between 7 and 8).
Is that possible? It seems like you have to be really careful creating steps
because you can't turn back.

Hi,
The dedicated forum for Studio and PartDesigner is https://forum.bricklink.com/
(hover over the red Studio icon on every page, then click “Studio Forum”).
So I’ll be short here:
There’s multiple ways to create and manage steps.
— In Building mode, in the Steplist. Where the step is created depends on what
is selected.
If you have selected a step, the new step will be created just after.
If you have selected a part, the step will be at the end.
— In Step Editor (first stage of Instruction Maker): there, there’s different
buttons and entries in right-click menus….
