Has anyone had experience of an order being seemingly stuck 'in progress'.
I'm a seller and a buyer has paid via PayPal, and I've received the payment
for the order, but the order is showing as 'in progress' for the last
18 hours. The buyer can no longer see the order and hasn't got a confirmation
email but I can still see the order 'in progress'. Any advice would be
welcome on how we can progress this, thanks.

IC orders make 2 transactions in PayPal one for the order and another for the
payment, are you sure you got the money into your PayPal Balance?

As far as I know the only thing you can do is wait, then the item will probably
be returned to your inventory. If you can make screenshots of the In Progress
order you can send then to the buyer if he wants to recreate the cart again in
case the order doesn't go through...

You could also contact the Help Desk here, you need to register with your same
email as in BL.

Hi,

I had the same problem; the helpdesk can't do anything about it, because
of the "database integrity", the order is already stuck in "in progress" for
about 4 months. I have arranged with the customer that I refunded the Paypal-payment
and he had placed a new order. Luckily he was very understanding. I think I had
to manually return the items from stockroom A to my active inventory before he
could re-order it.

Hi Niels

Thank you for that and sorry you had the same issue. The info you provided is
useful to know (if less than ideal for a seller or buyer). It sounds like
a refund and manual adjustment of stock is the only solution so at least there
will be a resolution.
