| Should I just say no to this buyer and ship normally or should I go ahead and
cancel their quote. I only ask since it’s a 200ish dollar order. (Also I don’t
even know if what they ask is even possible since it all onsite even so I
never had any intention of doing it)

I would tell them and hopefully you have something in your terms about it to
point them to. Maybe they'll go ahead and pay their tax and maybe they won't
want to go ahead.

| I’ll go with that. That’s probably something I should add. I guess I never thought
I needed to add to my store terms that I won’t break tax laws on behalf of the
buyer. Also should I report the buyer as I think I remember reading one for he
forums to report buyers like this. The buyer has 60 feedback so they probably
have done it before and probably will do it again.

That’s what I thought to but I just double checked and this buyer is from Poland
which dosnt show that vat thing on his quote as compared to it showing on other
international quotes I have.

Yes, so $200+ is above the limit and the buyer will pay at reception (plus a
“brokerage fee” to the delivery service).

I'm not sure that VAT calculation is correct, 23% of $200 is only $46.

Yes.
And much more, 23% VAT of $200 is 37.40$ VAT, not 46.
200 / 1.23 = 162.60 net
200 - 162.60 = 37.40 VAT

Indeed, the buyer talks about $222.26 & 23%. Where’s that VAT calculation?

Er, no. VAT is added (value Added tax ) and 23% of $200 is $46. You’re doing
it backward from an all-taxes-included (TTC) price that Nubs_Select doesn’t know
because he doesn’t see the VAT on the order as BL is not collecting it. So when
he says “200ish,” we can assume he’s talking about the $222.26 the buyer mentions,
not including the VAT.

Cheese! I've got mixed up with the 200$ above.
Sorry.
But then 23% VAT of 222.26 is 41.56, not 46.
(if we ignore $ and the fact VAT cannot be in dollars, but in local currency
that could be then translated in ^$)

It’s only a $200 order: Just cancel, tax evasion is wrong.
It’s a $1000 order: Shut up and take the money!

It makes little sense to do this now anyway. If it was a $10 order then VAT should
have been collected and you must attach the correct documentation showing that.
Just supply the full value paid. And maybe print out the order page with all
notes and messages attached, so Polish customs can have a laugh when they assess
VAT.
