| I want to buy some minifigs online. I found the website called Bricklink and
it's very cool because it has everything.
I was wondering, if I want to have a minifigure but I don't want to pay too
much, can I buy the parts one by one from different sellers. (torso, head, legs...)
By "can I" I mean is it good to buy like this or risky and buying the full figure
at once is safer and better?

| Welcome to BrickLink!
Buying the entire figure from one seller is the way "most people" prefer.
It saves you spending multiple shipping costs, compared to just 1, from a single
seller.
also, you are going to get a figure where all the conditions of the separate
parts, are usually equal. In the case of buying separate parts, you risk getting
a great condition torso and perhaps a scratched head. For instance.
There are cases that you can save money buying the parts separately and assembling
yourself, but it is not the norm.
Good luck.

You can definitely do this and it isn't risky; however, you might wind up
paying more in shipping if you order from multiple sellers. But there are circumstances
in which buying the individual parts is less expensive than buying whole figures.

Depends on the fig I think. I’ve seen Commander Wolffe, for example, being sold
as a complete figure for $100 when you can part him out and spend half that amount,
maybe even less on a good day.

| I prefer to buy the whole minifgure as I know that it will arrive all at once.
Others prefer to buy from a few stores. It's really up to you.
