Hello there, I recently tried to order a lego set from the Designer program in
round 3, yet my order was never confirmed, and I just got my money back with
no notification that my order was likely cancelled. I did not use a lego account
when ordering the set so I have gotten 0 compensation for the error on their
end. Any suggestions on what I should do about it?

Hello!

Are you sure you bought one of the funded sets? Only 5 of the sets end up getting
produced.

Why would you get compensation? You've not lost anything.

Especially if you didn't use an account and had ordered one of the 5 successful
ones, they might have thought you were trying to get around purchase limits.

Some people who had their orders cancelled got VIP points for it as compensation
for their cancelled order and I did order the Mountain View Observatory, which
got funded.

So if you didn't use an account to order, then there is no associated VIP
account, so they won't be able to give you any compensation. Companies use
loyalty schemes for their data analytics. If you opt out of using them, you opt
out of any rewards.
