In Studio, whenever you import an official set as a palette, it always fails
to import any parts with stickers. I don't mind not having the stickers myself,
but is there any way to have it automatically import the regular part sans-sticker
instead of just throwing an error?

Currently the only way around this is to manually add them, which gets tedious
with large sets. Has anyone been able to get around this? It's a major hassle
for people who like to build sets digitally.

Hi,

The dedicated forum for Studio and PartDesigner is https://forum.bricklink.com/
(hover over the red Studio icon on every page, then click “Studio Forum”).

Please search the forum for your question before posting a new one (the search
box is in the very dark grey banner).
There’s indexes of known bugs and suggestions that you can browse first:
Studio: https://forum.bricklink.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=5579
PartDesigner: https://forum.bricklink.com/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=5589

For your problem/suggestion:

0. Some stickered parts do exist (so, not all lead to an error).

1. Stickered parts are in the Counterpart section of an inventory, the part without
sticker is also in the inventory, in the Regular section, and as Studio imports
(or tries to import) the Regular parts & Counterparts, that means the unstickered
part is already in the palette.
(Yes, that means the palette contains more parts than necessary for the build.)

2. If you’re also talking about painted parts, the inventories don’t contain
their plain version (obviously, because they can’t be found in the sets), so
Studio would have to substitute them, more or less automatically.  There’s
already a suggestion about that ( https://forum.bricklink.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=5955
) on which you’re welcome to add your comments
