| A buyer sent a payment for their order on May 2nd and the payment is sitting
in Pending status. The buyer claims payment will be released as soon as I complete
the order but I can't do that because I'm waiting for the payment to
clear. Seems we caught in a technical snafu. Any suggestion on how to resolve
this would be appreciated.

How did they pay? Look at your account on the payment processor's site and
see the status of the payment there. Sounds fishy to me.

IIRC, BL "Pending" status just means that the order hasn't been paid.

That sounds sketchy. Did the buyer pay Onsite or try to send it directly to your
PayPal account? Do you see anything in your PayPal account? I'm guessing
not if you're posting here.

This is a tech glitch, we had 4 and bricklink is aware of the issue.
Here is how to fix it
1. go to your PayPal account and void the pending transaction.
2. edit the order from paid to not yet paid
3. ask the buyer to try again.

My screen looks different from yours and no "void" on any of the drop-down boxes.
When I change the payment status to "not yet paid" (only other option) it's
not allowed because the "payment has not been returned to the sender's account"

I also have a payment made on May 2nd and the payment is stuck in Pending status.
Sent in a ticket which was forwarded to tech support, but have still yet to receive
a proper response.
So now I have an NSS, but I haven't been paid for the order.

Did you check your PayPal/Stripe account?
What does it say?
If it's fully paid, ignore BrickLink status and ship!
It not paid, issue an NPB.

You would want to void it on PayPal (if you can), not BL
