Question as much as a request: set 126 is listed with red window "39" but I believe
that it should be "39c01" (with glass). The one I owned (bought used) came with
"39c01" which could have been wrong but a few other websites lists the set with
39c01 as well (BrickOwl, Rebrickable, Brickset).

If the set has windows with glass, then "39c01" should replace "39" or 2x "39glass"
should be added and 39c01 should be a counterpart.

As I said in the beginning; this is more of a question wether the set had windows
with glass or not, but if so, there should be changes.

Thanks in advance and have a good Thursday.

Part No: 39C01  Name: Window 1 x 1 x 1 with Trans-Clear Glass (39 / 39glass)
*
39c01 Window 1 x 1 x 1 with Trans-Clear Glass (39 / 39glass)
Parts: Window {Red}
Should never be listed as a counterpart, because it always came in sets assembled.
I also have doubts if it should even have an inventory, because imo these windows
and doors always had fixed glass (glued to the frame), with the exception of
Samsonite windows/doors. Still not sure yet about these smaller windows though.

The small windows were produced without glass somewhere around the mid 70's
(excluding specific colors). Not sure yet when exactly, but

Set No: 126 Name: Steam Locomotive (Push)
*
126-1 (Inv) Steam Locomotive (Push)
58 Parts, 1970
Sets: Train: 4.5V
produced 1970-1974 also came with

Part No: 39  Name: Window 1 x 1 x 1
*
39 Window 1 x 1 x 1
Parts: Window {Red}

If you want, you can submit an inventory change request for this set.

Change 39 to Alternate, Match-ID 1
Add 39c01, color id 5 (red), qty 2, regular, MID 1
