I've the same thing while having set up a specific sort order for ALL shops,
and it almost never shows up

https://www.bricklink.com/v3/user/settings/shopping.page only works if you make
a search first.
1. Land on the shop (maybe go to the Shop tab): doesn’t work.
2. Select a category: doesn’t work.
3. Click “Wanted List” or “Newest Items”: works (well, Newest Items are obviously
ordered by date but the other settings work).
4. Now go back to All Items: works.
5. Select a category: works.
(BTW Sylvain, you have an expired certificate on your Splash page.)

I set it up in v2, now it's in v3 and apparently my settings didn't go
through and are reset to default
OK, I'll do it again and try what you say.

Oh, I didn’t even notice it was v3: I just clicked My Shopping Settings in My
Settings.
If by “v2” you mean you used the link in a shop… then it’s the same page/form,
it’s just shown in a frame.
And I think it’s simply that all the new pages are now “v3.”

Another “fun” thing: with Wanted Lists, the sort box says “Item name,” but the
default order is “Color, whatever.” So when you open a WL, items are sorted
by colour… and if you change the number of items per page, poof, they are now
sorted as the box says.

Change to 100 items: ordered by item name.
