| I have a feeling I'm putting this in the wrong place, but basically last
month I purchased from a seller, had several hiccups with payment in the transaction,
and went through a multitude of orders. After the seller finally put out the
package from Canada, I posted feedback for one of those other orders commenting
how patient they were with me.
Later, I get the package. Next time I log on to "window shop," out of the corner
of my eye I see the "your order's here, give the seller feedback!" icon.
Yes, the flashy little green dot that's like eight pixels wide at most. I
ask the seller if I can just give the feedback and be done with it, but I am
informed that might be taken as some kind of feedback system cheating if I did
that (and if I selected neutral, that would ruin the store's streak.)
Given that context, I'd like to know if there's a way for that little
icon to disappear? I was hoping an admin could deactivate it or something, because
it seems to magically catch my eye and I can't avoid it. Thanks!

There is no rule against leaving feedback for orders that went through separately
even if the shipping was eventually combined. You would not be cheating to leave
feedback for all of the orders. But, absolutely do not leave Neutrals as those
count against us.
Does the notification go away if you mark all the orders Completed?
Good luck!

| As I stated here https://www.bricklink.com/message.asp?ID=1337329 they were all
orders for the same "end goal." I don't know how well I explained it but
that's the best I got. (Also I think the order is marked Completed already?
At least the ones that weren't cancelled)

I don't think it's considered cheating to leave more than one feedback
for the same store. I often order from the same sellers and I leave feedback
every time. Sometimes, if I place two consecutive orders, the seller combines
them into one package, but I still post feedback separately. Nothing wrong with
that.
What is cheating is creating a second account, placing orders in your own store,
and leaving yourself positive feedback to game the feedback system. Or threatening
people into leaving positive feedback, etc.

| Of course not for separate orders. In this instance however, I placed orders,
and they ended up being cancelled due to those payment hiccups (it's a whole
doozy, really.) All these orders were for the same "goal order," if you will,
which I have by now received. Since I left feedback on one of those "drafts,"
I don't know if it's okay to post feedback or not. Sorry, I should have
clarified that.

So basically, you "ordered" several times, but because of payment problems only
one of those actually became a real order and the others were cancelled? I can
understand your hesitation, but I don't think there's anything wrong
with leaving feedback for them all, especially since it wasn't your intention
with those orders to try to feedback scam or anything.

It's OK to post (and receive) feedback for cancelled orders. I would say
it's even appropriate to leave positive feedback for cancelled orders, depending
on the circumstances of the cancellation.

Personally, I'd leave just one feedback for the whole thing. There was one
true transaction, then cancelled ones. Do the cancelled ones really warrant extra
feedback? If buyers start leaving and getting feedback for multiple cancelled
orders, then there is an incentive to place multiple orders in one store, say
there was an issue and ask for them all to be cancelled except one, leaving the
one order that they pay for.
