One possibility is it’s a user’s error (reloading their posting or going back
& forth in their history and that reposts their message).
Another is that it’s a problem with the site itself.
And as it happened to axaday (his post https://www.bricklink.com/message.asp?ID=1308573
was repeated several times, the clones were cancelled but you can still see a
couple reactions to the repetition  ), I’d say the second hypothesis is a strong
probability.

There is always something going on somewhere that you don't know about.
Are you asking if there is something going on with Bricklink?
Maybe you don't have what someone wants right now.

There is always something going on that you don't know. 
Also, you don't ship to USA.
But I wouldn't be too worried about it. Even when my store was busier, sometimes
a day would go by with no orders. Keep your inventory stocked and they will keep
buying.
