| Well folks, it seems as though I have reached the point that all avid Lego collectors
never hope to reach. I have ran out of space for more Lego. I still plan on collecting,
but it appears that I will have to get creative with the limited space I have.
Most of my sets are assembled and on display, so perhaps I could disassemble
some of them and put them in storage? I believe it is doable, but it will also
be time consuming. If you have found yourself in a similar position before, what
did you do to create more space? Interested to see what all of you have to say.
Thanks.

I would be more than happy to take some of your LEGO in order to free up space.
In all seriousness, there are may things you can do. If you like to collect boxes,
then you can always flatten the boxes without significantly diminishing their
value. You can disassemble assembled sets. Or, you can simply buy a bigger house,
if that is an option for you.

| I would suggest floating shelves on unused wall space for your completed sets.
Foot or 2 from the ceiling across the back wall where couches and chairs usually
are in the living room, just above picture level where they are there and can
be seen but wont draw too much attention from eye level. Bedroom walls are also
a good place for them too.

LOL, yes, I remember that situation, though I reacted differently than most would.
At first I created spaces all over the house, making use of nooks and crannies.
Build cases above the stairs etc.
Finally I found I could not create more space, so either buy a bigger house or
downsize my collection.
Around that time, I found my first 2x4 test brick, although I didn’t know that
at the time.
I started to sell my whole collection, keeping just a few key sets and started
collecting 2x4 bricks.
Now, almost 20 years later, my whole collection could fit in one (BIG) box
Maybe you can start collecting a specific theme, like space or castle, go deep
instead of wide.
Good luck, it is a most interesting yourney.
