Hello,

We got some

Set No: 41917 Name: Magic Forest
*
41917-1 (Inv) Magic Forest
33 Parts, 2020
Sets: Dots: Bracelet

And there is this part

Part No: 65092 Name: Rock 1 x 1 Jewel Octagonal
*
65092 Rock 1 x 1 Jewel Octagonal
Parts: Rock {Satin Trans-Dark Pink}

But when sorting I noticed there are 2 clearly distinguishable colors.

Satin Trans-Dark Pink and what appears "Satin Bright Pink".

The first is the one on the right of the pictures, it has transparency and it
is darker just like Trans-Dark Pink but with the Satin. The other, the one on
the left is pink with no transparency at all.

Both have molded 65002 inside, so a change in plastic material seems not as it
usually means a change in mold...

PD: Now seeing it against a light source it is more like Opaque instead of Trans.

Looks to me that its just a color variation like trans-orange or pearl gold.

I thought it not because the part color hasn't spawned many years to change
like those you mention. Maybe TLG reformulated at the beginning.

Pink weights 0.127

Trans weights 0.123

A couple more pics.

It seems they changed the quantity of nacre/mother-of-pearl.  More = whiter,
less transparent.

Last pic, and seeing the news that Satin White changed to Satin Trans-Clear then
that's it, seems it depens on the mix but they are all intended to be trans.
I found the same change happening with some of the White/Trans-clear ones we
have too.
