| Where do I go to adjust what shows up in the URL for my store? I have visited
some peoples pages and their store shows like www.bricklink.com/mystore but
mine is just a bunch of codejargon with my user ID in it lol.

Change your username to the store name.

Apart what yorbrick said, you could buy a domain for a few dollars per year (like:
www.example.com), and then point it to https://www.bricklink.com/store.asp?p=Sammarie1093
Then you can give people this address https://www.example.com and even (but it's
probably a bit more expensive) have your emails in sam@example.com and marie@example.com
And it can be a good idea if you wish to create a name that "stays"

1) no it doesn't work, try it!
2) if so, I don't understand why you'd like a shorter or a different
URL in BrickLink: this one is the easiest to communicate
