I suspect that both the middle and the left prints are under 95514. The earliest
mini doll images with this head show a lighter color. It’s name was also changed
from ‘Light Brown’ which is not a definitive color descriptor here.

I suspect that both the middle and the left prints are under 95514. The earliest
mini doll images with this head show a lighter color. It’s name was also changed
from ‘Light Brown’ which is not a definitive color descriptor here.

Looking at images on Brickset for 95514 and its alternate item numbers suggests
that you are correct. 95514 and 11815 have identical images but 38062 has noticeably
darker eyes.

Why is it that this head with three shades of brown is split into two - not three

Why is it that this head with three shades of brown is split into two - not three
- parts?

This can happen when a submitter adds a new PCC to an existing part. Either they
didn't notice a significant difference, or the difference was thought
too small to matter. I replaced the image for this part at some point, so I expect
the original image was of poor quality. With a description like 'Light Brown'
and nothing to compare it to, it's likely that no one noticed the difference
until now.
