Hi there,

I'm able to buy a Mister Gold, but I'm not sure if it's genuine

Here are 3 pictures:
https://imgur.com/gallery/b34rTUi

After watchting this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e3nPLGZnWTI (sorry
for german)
And also this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aRLegYMRsb0

What bothers me:
*) Although there is a Lego logo, the white one (white neck, white hips) doesn't
seem to be correct
*) It looks a little bit too golden
*) The head has "Hollow Stud" instead of "Blocked Open Stud" (which should be
genuine, according to the first video) - but on the other hand, bricklink says
"Hollow Stud" as well.
*) The Lightsaber part is "chromed" all the way up, not just up to half of the
end.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Counterfeiters have killed Mr Gold. I would never risk buying one.

Yeah, when he was released there were many copies of him made but with quite
different printing and these were similar but obvious. Now there are lots of
almost exact copies. There are even fakes of the leaflet produced now, which
was once a sign of the genuine item. Unfortunately, no longer.
