Right now, I keep almost all of my figures in tackle boxes. But I'd like
to put some up for display and hang it up on a wall. I'm not a huge fan of
just lining them up on a big base plate.

There are minifigure display cases you could buy, or you could build one out
of bricks:

I've purchased displaygifts minifig cases both direct from them and on Amazon.
They're a little pricey, but display really nice if you lay some long black
plates down. Theyre tall enough to accommodate most figs, and shelves are removable
for extra height as needed. And they're pretty deep. The big one holds appx
300 figs when they're stuffed in, 200 with a stud spacing. My pics are too
large to post unfortunately, but feel free to pm for pics

I just keep my Barbies all in a row.

If you are looking for something commercial, there is a plastic box that can
contain around 12 or 16 minifigures on a stand. Organized and cute, no overly
inventive though. I am fairly sure you can find it on eBay and maybe Amazon.

Large baseplates and then attach minifig at back of leg to a 1 x2 plate. I am
going to use mirror holding clips to attach to wall.

You put them in a dust-free room?  Because, here, that’s a recipe to have to
dust¹ them every week at least.

(Yeah, I sometimes feel like there’s a cement factory hidden down the street
or something… *sigh*)

¹ I love auto-antonyms.  Here I mean remove the dust of course

I affix them on a planck with a big carpenter nail right in their belly.
Plus some extra strong hot glue.

They won't go anywhere!

Of course, I'll later on sell them in shop as New "Just displayed".

There’s this computer support story (myth?) where a computer didn’t work once
installed on a Navy ship.  The technician arrives on site and sees that the computer
had been secured against bad weather… with a giant screw in its middle

We designed a custom display case using all Lego parts. Originally designed for
Collectible Minifigures. No dust, no missing accessories. Glass on the front,
door on the back.

The photo is for one of the custom flower vases, but you can see the display
cases for minifigures.

Plan to offer both in our store ...

I just stick mine on a flat baseplate. I have so many figs that I don’t have
the funds to buy 100s of specialized cases for them.
