“To be on BrickLink?”

There’s no such restriction. It is after all, about a toy. For adults too? Of
course... but fundamentally still a child’s plaything. The AFOL aspect came afterwards.

You must 18 years of age to register as a member (termed "user" within the TOS)
as is required for a contract (Terms of Service) to be binding. That said, the
forum rules, though not explicitly, do imply "for users" and a user is within
the TOS, 18 and older.

Personally, I've always felt that we here in the forum should be more tolerant
of minors participating in discussions. It's good to have the younger voices
in with the older, for guidance or mentoring. Maybe to also remind us with mileage,
how we once saw things

I'm aware it's a minority viewpoint around here, but many of us are here
because of our children. I initially registered so that my son and I could use
the site together, back when they had auctions here.

Thanks, Kevin.

Hope your young Lego partner is flourishing. I’m guessing she has (as with my
son) grown less interested in Lego as time passes. Time does flyby with them

~ Warm thoughts to you both

Normally I agree with you.

We all know this is what he meant……..

No, this is an adult site, talking about LEGO with children can be done on enough
other sites.
Besides, we have enough adult children on here

Still no excuse for children to be on here.
