I found a 57467c01 in a bulk lot, chrome silver
I also got some loose harpoons and loose sprue's, also chrome silver.

How should these be sold?
- are the harpoons connected to the sprue considered 'new'? condition
is still really good.
- can the loose harpoons and a loose sprue be sold as 57467c01 as 'used',
mentioning the harpoons are not connected to the sprue? I see this happening
several times, does the sprue really hold value?

Pretty sure removing them from the sprue changes the condition to used, whether
or not the chrome finish is still there and not worn off. I’d recommend selling
it still intact on the sprue.

I agree, they MUST still be on the sprue

Isn’t that a meta/super/hyper-sprue?

I agree.

But is it technically still considered an 57467c01 if the harpoons are separated
from the sprue and the sprue is delivered loose with two harpoons? I see several
lots with this kind of description and the selling price is much higher that
two harpoons. Does the sprue have a value to collectors, even if it's supplied
loose?

No, ones loose from the set they should be sold as loose harpoons.

loose?

No, the value drops ones they are separated.
Think of a box of LEGO that is factory sealed and a box you opened, the value
drops a lot.

I wouldn't consider anything in a bulk lot to be new, unless it was sealed
inside a packet.

Agreed - and with an item like this you can't be sure it wasn't used
even though it's still on the sprue

Indeed, I've not had those parts on a sprue before but the Harry Potter wands
on a sprue have decorative uses without taking them off the sprue.
