Hello, Bricklink administration and bricklink community!
How can a russian store pay the monthly BL fee these days?
I am an admin of quite big russian Bricklink store named GoldFish, wich located
in Moscow city, Russia. I have a problem, I tryed to pay my monthly fee bill
but it's impossible to do that from Russia nowadays:
1) Tried tp pay with Paypal: PayPal says: "To comply with international regulations,
this transaction has been declined."
2) Tried to pay with bank card: "Card declined. Try another card."
I am sad, disapointed and worry! What may I and other sellers from Russia do
in this case? We spent years for our honest job and don't want to lose our
businesses!
Please, help us!

It is clearly going to be an issue for a number of sellers, while BL allows Russian
sellers to continue to operate and they are not able to make payments for the
services used. I imagine they will either have to suspend all selling and buying
activity in Russia, or suspend lots of Russian stores for non-payment of fees,
or continue to allow them to sell but suspend any payments payments due from
Russian stores until the payment methods allow them to pay.

Sorry to hear this, it should not happen, but it unfortunately does.
Is it possible for you to send any PayPal money outside Russia?
If so, maybe ask another seller to pay?
I hope this gets solved soon or BL gives you some temporary leeway…..

Russian members that show a willingness to pay fees owed, without a viable mode
being offered to execute payment, that result in store closure for breach of
contract? Well, there is a legal argument for not handling it as a contractual
infringement, using what’ s termed: force majeure measurements. In other words,
a failure of payment without the breach of contract and therefore no store closures.
Notwithstanding any such clause currently within the TOS.
Hopefully, they’ll find a way to accommodate you and the many other fans of Lego
caught up in this. It’s the BrickLink way.

It's a bad situation for everyone but since the economic sanctions no longer
allow paypal, and all major credit cards to be utilized in Russia it's going
to be impossible to make your monthly payment. Not sure admin can suspend for
the moment until things work out. But it's something worth asking once you
do get a reply of sorts. Good luck to you.

The agreement between Russia and China to use those financial services Union
Pay offers, is still fairly new. Don’t know if it would fly in the West, not
at this time anyway.

It seems to me that you will need to go to PayPal or your Bank, since they do
not allow payments anymore. That is not caused by BrickLink, so BrickLink cannot
solve it either.

There are many more humans spending years for honest jobs and do not want to
lose that either. Still, they do currently in the blink of an eye. Ask yourself
why that is. Your problem with paying BrickLink fees will seem a minor issue.

1) Tried tp pay with Paypal: PayPal says: "To comply with international regulations,
this transaction has been declined."
2) Tried to pay with bank card: "Card declined. Try another card."
I am sad, disapointed and worry! What may I and other sellers from Russia do
in this case? We spent years for our honest job and don't want to lose our
businesses!
