| Hi, I’m LegoFan1138. This is my first post, so I haven’t quite gotten the hang
of chatting with other members on the site yet. I created this account in February,
so I’m new here. Please be kind. I was wondering if anyone was willing to part
with a SW0107 Cloud City Boba Fett. I only have $200. I know that’s a very cheap
price for a figure of that value, but I could possibly add a few items to even

It is highly unlikely anyone will sell you a rare figure for 10-20% of its current
value. Once sold, you could flip it for a huge profit. You'll have to pay
market price or make do with a different, cheaper version.

| Yes, that is true. However, I do recall misprinted items going for a high price
on the market. I have a light up lightsaber Darth Vader minifig with a misprinted
face. It’s printed WAY too low on the head. I haven’t seen anything like it at
all. I have a misprinted Indiana Jones head where the beard print is slightly
curved up in the middle. Perhaps those could be somewhat valuable?

| These are going for between $1,200 and $2,000 used right now so I'm afraid
you won't have any luck with $200. Bricklink isn't really a bartering
site... you find what you're looking for and pay the asking prices. A few
sellers might negotiate on the pricea tiny bit, but most won't because someone
else will buy it eventually for their asking price.

As a point of reference, I bought the whole set for $270 back in 2014. However,
the only figures included were Boba Fett and Darth Vader. Unfortunately, Boba
came with cracks in both arms which I had to find a replacement for.

| I personally own the figures of Han ( regular and carbonite) Vader, and the stormtrooper.
I know they weren’t that expensive and the ones people really have to pay a pretty
penny for Boba, Luke, Leia, and Lando.

Having some trouble with eBay, so the figure might not be listed for a while.
However, you can still message me if you have a cloud city boba fett you’re
trying to get rid of. New condition would be preferable, but the most I can pay
once I get the figure listed is $900. I’m going to list something else for another

You can buy a replica Boba Fett 10123 from ebay and save up for the real thing.
I've seen some sold recently there and they look pretty good. Some were
$200+ on auction.

You can buy a replica Boba Fett 10123 from ebay and save up for the real thing.
I've seen some sold recently there and they look pretty good. Some were
$200+ on auction.

I got a fake one in a bulk lot and was all excited until I noticed it was of
the lepin variety. They use to sell for like $3 on ebay. Now even those complete
fakes are $40+ since they're no longer attainable.

The odd thing is, that was a $200 figure for nearly 20 years after it's release.
It's only in the past few years that it skyrocketed.
I think a lot of speculative investing is happening, not collecting and enjoying
at this point. In my opinion, no figure is worth more than a couple hundred.
God forbid it cracks.
