| I have had my first really bad experience with BrickLink. In one of my orders
are bricks plainly marked Mega Bloks. I contacted the seller, told him the problem
and he did not care. He refunded me $.60 no explanation. So, I sent hem another
email explaining it was not about money it is about integrity and trusting someone
when they say they are selling Legos. No reply. I am new to Bricklink and I
am not sure what to do.

I would mark the seller as least favorite, and select another seller next time.
Most sellers would respond in a better way, I think. I know I would.
I even did, after I sold a fake technic pin once... I felt so ashamed!

| That's what I was thinking but it's not necessarily a "transactional"
issue if they are selling fake lego in multiple orders as then it's a fraudulent
seller.
|
The buyer only knows about their transaction. They don't know if the seller
is doing it repeatedly. Leaving feedback will inform others that the seller has
megabloks mixed in with lego parts.

Was $0.60 the worth of the fake pieces? Possible they slipped by him (we sort
thousands of used pieces a week and some get by us). I agree that he could've
had more communication but at this point what do you want from him?

| If the seller sold you fake pieces, you should continue to fight for a full refund.
I suggest talking to the admin to possibly ban the seller if they scammed you.

So if you bought $50 worth of Lego, and $0.60 of them were fakes, you think you
deserve a full $50 refund?
And unless you're 99% sure they're purposely scamming, I wouldn't
jump so quickly to get them banned. I've sold million of used Lego pieces
since I've been a seller, and since I'm only human, some fakes have slipped
by to our customers. Doesn't mean I'm purposely scamming.

| I was under the impression that the seller ordered $50 worth of parts and received
$0.60 worth of fake parts. If there were only a few parts that were fake, don’t
worry about it.

| Their feedback suggests their sorting could be better.

Frankly, if he sells other brands, he shouldn't be allowed on BrickLink.
This is not permitted.
But, and especially if you bought Used parts, an human error is really possible.
For this amount, maybe simply forget it, the refund is fine.

Agreed, but the refund should cover more than the parts, it should cover at least
part of the shipping as well, since the buyer will have to source the parts from
elsewhere. At least that is the offer that I would make to the buyer.

Leave negative feedback if you do not feel the seller's response is appropriate
in relation to the degree of the problem.
Indicate what percent of the order was not genuine LEGO, and how the seller responded,
and why you consider this an issue. Each buyer can decide how this impacts their
willingness to buy from this seller.

| Life is way too short to get your knickers in a bunch for $0.60 on a $50 order.
The seller did right by refunding your money.
I can't expect a seller to walk on water when I haven't mastered that
feat yet.
If the mistake is under $1, many times I'll say, "Don't bother with the
refund." and give them a positive review. If the seller is making $18 an hour,
it costs them $0.30 a minute to handle emails, refunds, etc. I have too much
respect for their time.
On the other hand, if it was a few dollars and a blatantly obvious error, there
would be a serious email conversation.
Try to think of it from the seller's perspective. He made a mistake and
refunded your money. What more could/should he have done? Begged you for mercy?
Sent you a free Lego set? Chopped off a finger?
They are a businessperson trying to make money and know even in a perfect world
not every customer is going to be happy. Your email has given them another concern
to deal with.
Ugh, I have non-Lego items in my inventory.
How much is this going to slow me down on each order?
Should I go through my stock and make sure there aren't any others?
Which of my employee's do I need to talk to about this?

So only a small percentage of the order was fake bricks? I thought the buyer
paid $60 and only received $.60 of fake bricks.
