if I create an order and select leave it open to add further batches. are the
prices on the first batch fixed? the store I'm buying from regularly changes
discount amounts and they seem to rotate across different products. so if the
sale changes to different items being reduced will my first batch change price
if the sale is no longer on those items when I add my next batch and checkout?

Prices/colors/lots/quantities in an order can't change, ever.

Apart with an Item removal/change process, but it needs both buyer and seller
actions, and it determines only the quantity, or presence.

But if you order the same lot in another batch, it may have a different price
(the in the first batch), if the seller changed it in between.
