| Is there anyone out there willing to part with their BAGGED NY Yoda??? I've
been trying to get one, but feel the market for this particular minifig is DRASTICALLY
overpriced. For starters,the minifig can be easily faked if out of the bag, so
I won't even entertain the idea of a loose one. Second, they're all over
ebay ranging from $6K to $14K when the BL sales data for the last 6 months, even
with all the Lego "inflation", shows only 1 new one being sold for just under
6K and 3 used ones for only $365. In short, is there anyone who's willing
to part with theirs for a realistic number? Please message me as this is one
of the few needed for my collection! Thanks!

They are not overpriced, they are just more than you are willing to pay. Why
would someone part with one at significantly below market price when the buyer
could then quickly flip it at market price. The market price at which others
are buying/selling IS the realistic price.

| Exactly.
It's not like I'm selling it at a discount to a friend who I know really
wants it for themselves. What's to stop you from reselling it for a profit?

| If I manage to get really close to complete, I might buy a good fake just because
I won't justify the price tag and used ones are very hard to verify. C-3PO
on the other hand, I'll probably splurge for.
