Can someone shed some light on the actual difference between part 3068bpb0851
and 3068bpb0058 ? Mine is dark bluish gray.

I've studied them for hours, and still cannot tell which version I have.
The only difference I see is the power button - one is more defined, brighter
white & 1 isn't.

Thanks in advance for this identification

Just adding links.
I think it’s either
— hard to tell because of printing variations (ink quantity),
— or printing variations only and actually the same parts.

I disagree -- it was easy to tell the difference between the two prints for
every piece in my store and collection. One has a power switch icon (an open
circle with a line through the opening); the other has a completely solid dot
instead of the icon. I believe the printed graphic for this piece was slightly
redesigned around 2013-2014.

When you have only one, you don’t necessarily know which one you have: is it
a dot or a power icon that was printed with too much ink?

Anyway, the descriptions don’t tell us what’s the difference.  On the contrary,
as they are worded now, they seem to say the power button is the same (”White
Power Switch Icon“ for both) and let us think there’s a difference in the patterns
(“1” vs. “3”, very helping).

So if the difference is really the power button, maybe the descriptions should
tell us that.
E.g. “White Power Button” vs. “White Power Switch Icon.”

I believe the printed graphic for this piece was slightly
redesigned around 2013-2014.

That’s what the “Years released” say too

If it were simply printed with too much ink, wouldn't the end of the line
going through the open circle still show at the top of the white dot? It doesn't,
so I don't believe this is simply a misprint with too much ink.

Agreed. The descriptions are/were worded poorly.

I think the titles of these items are misleading - they give the impression that
the computer monitor pattern is different, where the difference lies in the power
switch.

I will submit another request.

Er… one little thing from a non-native speaker: Isn’t a “solid circle” a “disc”?
Or simply a “dot”?

The only association I have with the word 'disc' is a CD.

To me, a dot is less specific than a solid circle. But I realize that I lean
more toward geometry terms when adding descriptions. I chose the word solid to
differentiate it some more from the other similar tile. I am sure the catalog
admins will look it over and decide what's best. I never mind if they improve
upon my submissions.

As I said: non-native speaker here, and maybe a bit too much math-oriented.

In French, the more colloquial word for circle is rond.
For instance, you throw a stone in the water and it makes des ronds, not
des cercles and even less des anneaux (rings but only for fingers,
planets or maths).
As soon as you say cercle, it implies it’s just the perimeter.

Yeah to me too, dot is less specific but I was trying to find some simple word
in my limited vocabulary.
Anyway, let’s leave the wise ones decide

Thanks for all your help everyone and yes, let's hope they come out with
a better identification of these 2 tiles.

The the bottom right hand corner is the difference. One is a button, the other
a button or diode.
