Dear Lego-Experts,

I have an unusual question but maybe someone can help: Does anybody know if the
building in the background on the box of the 1976s Rolls-Royce model with ID
395 really exists and if yes, where it is?

https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?S=395-1&name=1909%20Rolls-Royce&category=%5BHobby%20Sets%5D#T=S&O={%22iconly%22:0}

I would be very happy for every advise.

Can’t help but the image on the instructions looks better for those that might
know.

Yah. It's a bit disappointing, showing off a Rolls in front of a Danish castle.
I know there are plenty beautiful castles to pick from in the country that built
that gorgeous machine.

Thank you very, very much for finding the building.

You can imagine I was searching on my own before I sent my message but I was
not successful. I started with castles in England. Then I thought about searching
for castles in Denmark because Lego was founded in Denmark. I found castles of
similar style (orange stone, gables, small towers) but not the right one. At
the end I was sending a request to Lego (last sunday) but the answer today was
„we have no documents from this photo shooting anymore“.

So thanks again for your unbelievable quick help!

Guess where I will go next spring

Merry Christmas and all the best for next year!

Maybe you could answer them back then.  They could pass it on to the historians
who work at the LEGO House.

It's amazing (and sometimes quite scary) how much you can find on the interwebs
if you know how to wield the power of the Google wand...

Have a Merry Christmas everyone!
