| What to do? Last message got deleting for getting a little upset..
Answer are way quicker on the forum, store suspended (AGAIN)
Last suspention (few weeks ago) was for giving out external tracking links. Is
that really something to close someones whole business? Can't they communicate
like adults and send a message to have it removed within 24h or so. Come on now.
Can't even think about the reason currently. But really Admins, closing stores
for things besides not shipping/scamming etc etc should be talking about before
hand!!!!

It wasn't because someone got a little upset. It was because you broke the
forum rules.

Remember that volunteer forum moderators have no access to your account details
or have anything to do with the management of the site, and can do nothing when
stores are shut down when they break rules.

When you break rules and direct customers to external stores, then they have
a right to stop you doing it.

You are scamming them in a way, if you are directing customers away from this
site to external sites.

You are scamming them in a way, if you are directing customers away from this
site to external sites.

How is giving out tracking links scamming? It's just a little hosted site.
No items.
If BrickLink doesn't do it I'll do it myself since THERE BUYERS always
ask for tracking

Sir, a "tracking link" doesn't go to an "external store"... unless you consider
websites like USPS and DHL stores. (They do sell packing material and mailing
services, but they're also used to track packages, which I'm sure you
know.) To be clear, it's currently okay to provide buyers tracking numbers,
but you're saying to provide a link to the carrier (that an online search
of the tracking number would link to anyway) is not only one step too far but
merits suspension?

Did that really happen? Would be a very strange mistake. Sellers do this all
the time, so I'm not sure why they would suddenly make that mistake. Are
you sure you didn't refer the buyer to anything else than tracking info?

No.. But right now I do not know what's going on. Had not yet got an e-mail
from them, with should've been done by default. Store suspended for reason
X,Y,Z. Ofcourse my opinion

No.. But right now I do not know what's going on. Had not yet got an e-mail

I guess it depends on how serious the violation. If you pose a risk to bricklink
and/or it's users then suspending first and asking questions later would
be understandable. If its just a minor offence then yes maybe it should be communicated
first but do they suspend for minor offences? I'm not so sure? Either way
only an Admin can help you further....

that you have referred to your own shop / website (www.ats ..... nk.com) and
that is not allowed according to the bricklink terms

Granted "Storename.com" or "storename.co.uk" might be pushing things a little
far but in truth I think most people are already very aware they can search a
stores name in google to find the seller or other platforms the seller sells
on anyway however when all said and done most people already shopping on Bricklink
are choosing this as there prefered place to shop because of the advanced catalog
and therefore are not likely to be lost to other platforms (or even a sellers
own site) in the same way as an ebay user stumbling upon Bricklink or a sellers
own site

| It's not about having the same name for various platforms, but rather that
the bricklink terms prohibit referring to other sites.
if you googling a shop name and then find the same shop on various platforms,
that's a different story.
the terms state that it is not allowed to refer to other sites at bricklink.

Maybe you got suspended for selling items you are not allowed, like chrome parts
that wasn't made by Lego or custom printed parts etc?
